On April 24, 2026, police responded to a disturbance call in the 400 block of Second Street. Multiple witnesses reported a physical altercation, accusing Michael Anthony Hall, of Highspire, of attacking members of the household. Upon arrival, officers heard loud screaming coming from the backyard. During the investigation, and speaking with Hall, officers noticed a very strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from him. When officers attempted to question Hall, he began yelling obscenities, creating a loud disturbance in public.

Based on the victim's account, Hall was subsequently charged with Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
