On April 26, 2026, police conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Accord after observing the vehicle driving erratically and having difficulty maintaining its lane of travel on SR 230. The driver was identified as 49-year-old Clair Elizabeth Garza of Steeton, PA.

During a roadside investigation, the officer received multiple indicators that Garza was under the influence of a controlled substance and was unsafe to operate a motor vehicle. 

Garza was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
