During the month of February 2021, Highspire Police began an investigation of a reported stolen boat, trailer and motor.  The boat was sold on Facebook Marketplace from a person not authorized to sell the boat. After a lengthy investigation, police were able to locate the stolen boat and get it returned to the proper owner.  This investigation resulted in the arrest of Diane Elam for 1 Ct Theft by Unlawful Taking and 1 Ct Theft by Deception. Elam will face a hearing at DJ Lenker's Office 12-2-02
