On March 17, 2026, a traffic stop was initiated in the 1st block of Second Street due to a traffic infraction. The driver, later identified as Robert W. Curry Jr., exited the vehicle and attempted to walk away from the scene. During the roadside investigation, Curry confessed to possessing marijuana, which was subsequently found on his person by the officers.
Curry faces charges for Possession of Marijuana, Disorderly Conduct, disregarding a steady red traffic signal, and operating an unregistered vehicle.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
