On Saturday, May 1st,  2021 at approximately 1745 hours, Highspire Police were called to a local bar in the 300 block of Second St for a report of a passed out person. Police arrived to find JORDAN ANDERSON passed out on a plate of hot wings while intoxicated. Police soon learned while on scene that she came to the bar with a 3 year old child. Police searched the bar and discovered the child was safe and sitting with a couple that recognized what was going on and provided care for the child while the mother was incapable to at this time. Highspire Police wish to thank that witness that stepped up in a time of need while police were able to carry out their responsibilities.  JORDAN ANDERSON was arrested and taken to Dauphin County Booking Center for processing and arraignment on Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Public Intoxication. The child was placed into the custody of another family member.
