On Sunday August 3rd, at about 4:00am, the Harrisburg Police responded to the area of South 17th and Vernon Streets for a report of shots fired. Officers arrived in the area and later located an adult male shooting victim. The victim was immediately taken to a local hospital for emergency care for non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation was initiated and is ongoing at this time.
