On Tuesday November 25th, just after 12:00pm, the Harrisburg Police responded to a residence in the 300 block of South 17th Street for a report of an assault. Upon the arrival of officers, they located an adult male and an adult female. Both were suffering from what appeared to be lacerations. Medical treatment was provided, and the male was transported from the scene for advanced medical care. The female was determined to be deceased at the scene. An investigation was initiated and conducted throughout the evening.

At this time the Harrisburg Police believe to have identified all parties involved and believe this was an isolated incident with no continued threat to the community. Additional details will be provided when available.
