Charges of a sexual nature against Freddy Flores are one step closer to trial. On Tuesday, September 22, 2015, a preliminary hearing was held on charges alleging that Flores sexually assaulted a 17-year old boy with severe autism. The victim explained the sexual contact in graphic detail, despite his speaking and comprehension challenges. At the end of a lengthy hearing before Magisterial District Judge Joseph S. Lindsey, the charges were bound over to the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas. Flores is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, indecent, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of a minor. If convicted, Flores faces a potential sentence of 25-50 years.
This case was investigated by Detective Ryan Neal of the Harrisburg Police Bureau and prosecuted by Abby Trovinger of the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office.
