March 17, 2015- Commonwealth v Thierry Malley: On March 17, 2015, President Judge Richard A. Lewis sentenced Thierry Malley, 62, of Etters, PA, to 11 ½ to 23 months Dauphin County Prison for the charges of Theft by Deception; Theft by Unlawful Taking; and Theft by Failure to Make Disposition of Funds Received. Malley entered a guilty plea to the charges resulting from a lengthy investigation by Cpl. James Adams of the Pennsylvania State Police. The Commonwealth alleged that the defendant stole $200,000 from the Boys and Girls Club of Harrisburg during his tenure there as a financial consultant. At sentencing, the Defendant presented to the Court that he had made full restitution to the organization and indicated that the thefts were related to the health problems of his wife. The defendant was also ordered to serve three additional years of probation and complete 200 hours of community service. This case was prosecuted for the Commonwealth by Chief Deputy District Attorney Jennifer Gettle.
