OCCURRED  10/1/2016 BETWEEN 2030 HRS AND 2100 HRS

Reporting person stated that he was at the corner of Nevin and Spruce Streets when he was approached by an unknown suspect described as  a Black male, approx. 30 years old, brown skin tone, 6'0" thin build, short(close cut) hair, unshaven/scruffy wearing a dark blue hoodie with the hood up and blue jeans. The suspect asked for a light and the time when the victim told him he had neither the suspect drew a revolver from his hoodie pocket.  The suspect then patted down the victim taking cash from the victim’s pocket .  The suspect told the victim to turn around and not to look back and then fled running east on Spruce Street. Investigation continues.

OCCURRED BETWEEN 9/27/2016 0945 HRS AND 10/3/2016 0800 HRS

Reporting person / victim stated an unknown suspect(s) stole two bicycles from her front porch on two separate occasions.  The bicycles were chained to her porch railing and locked. The first bicycle was taken on 9/27/2016 and the second on 10/3/2016.

A black, 2004 Dodge, Ram 1500 reported stolen from Lancaster City on October 1^st  was located in the 500 block South Duke Street.

100 BLK  S QUEEN ST

OCCURRED BETWEEN 10/2/2016 1700 HRS AND 10/3/2016 0115 HRS

Reporting person stated that upon returning home on 10/3/2016 to find an unknown suspect(s) had broken into their residence causing damage to the balcony door.  Once inside the residence the suspect stole cash, 40 baseball caps and a duffel bag.

RETAIL THEFT

420 N FRANKLIN ST  /  FAMILY DOLLAR

OCCURRED 10/3/2016 2020 HRS

A Hispanic male, with mustache, wearing a black coat, red shirt, dark colored jeans, black hat with white writing, and white sneakers entered the listed location and stole a box of tooth paste before being noticed by store employee.  When the employee followed the suspect out of the store the suspect threw the toothpaste at him and said he didn’t take anything else.
