MARCH 15, 2025 ~ NEWTOWN SHAMROCK SHUFFLE 5K

The Shamrock Shuffle 5K offers a run through historic Newtown Borough.

Run begins at 9:00 A.M. Registration and start finish line located at Newtown Borough Hall 23 North State Street Newtown PA 18940

Temporary Road Closures will start at 7:00 a.m on Saturday March 15^th, 2025

If you live on the 5K Run route, please consider alternate routes and allow extra time for travelling.  Local businesses will be open for business and the Police Department will assist as much as possible to help with travelling in Newtown.   We will reopen the roads as soon as all participants are safely across the finish line.

Road Closures include:

• North State Street between Washington Avenue and Greene Street will close at 7am for event setup in front of Borough Hall
• North State Street ( Washington Avenue - Edgeboro Drive ) 8:30AM
• Greene Street ( North State Street – North Congress Street ) 8:30AM
• Edgeboro Drive ( North State Street – Linton Hill Road ) 8:30AM
• Frost Lane ( Edgeboro Drive – North Lincoln Avenue ) 8:30AM
• Jefferson Street ( North Sycamore Street – North Lincoln Avenue ) 8:30AM
• Liberty Street ( Washington Avenue – Jefferson Street ) 8:30AM
• North Congress Street ( Washington Avenue – Frost Lane ) 8:30AM
• North Chancellor Street ( Washington Avenue – Frost Lane ) 8:30AM
• Federal Lane
• Jefferson Street at North Sycamore Street ( Newtown Township ) 8:30AM

Parking Restrictions:

No parking on North State Street between Washington Avenue and Greene Street will go into effect at 6:00am for event setup.

No overnight parking in the Newtown Borough Hall parking lot located at 23 North State Street

Any person attending the event follow your Shamrock information packet.  NO PARKING ALONG THE RACE ROUTE!
