On Thursday, February 15th 2024 at 6:23 PM, a North Middleton Township Police Officer witnessed an auto accident occur in the area of Spring Road and Vernon Street. Upon investigation, it was determined a vehicle was merging onto Spring Road from a private parking lot, and had not properly ensured there was no oncoming traffic. Due to failing to yield to oncoming traffic, the driver caused an auto accident. The offending driver, Lloyd Westfall, has been charged with Title 75 § 3324, Vehicle Entering or Crossing Roadway.
