A Block Captain Program is a community initiative where volunteers act as liaisons for their block, promoting safety, communication, and neighborhood engagement.
Block captain programs aim to foster communication, improve safety, and build community engagement. Captains serve as the eyes and ears of their block, connecting neighbors with local authorities and law enforcement. They help distribute information on crime prevention, neighborhood needs, and emergency preparedness. They may also support neighborhood social gatherings to promote community for all of our residents.
