The Borough of Mechanicsburg has ended their contract with Code Red for emergency broadcasts and will be using Crimewatch.
The Crimewatch Emergency Broadcast System is a vital tool for the Mechanicsburg Police Department to quickly disseminate critical information to the public during emergency situations. This system enables us to rapidly alert citizens of potential threats, providing them with essential information to stay safe.
By signing up for the Crimewatch Emergency Broadcast System, you will receive timely notifications about:

To sign up for the Crimewatch Emergency Broadcast System, follow these easy steps:
- Visit the Mechanicsburg Police Department's website - mechanicsburgpolice.org
- Click on the "Subscribe" button in the upper right corner
- Enter your email address and it will send you an email for verfication
- Open your email and click "Verify Account" - this will take you to a screen where you will create a password
- Once you are subscribed any broadcasts will be sent to your email. You can download the app to have notifications sent to your phone dependent on the settings on your phone.
- If you have already subscribed to the site, there is no need to do this again. You are already set up.
