On May 11th, 2026, at approximately 2:19 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of East Strawberry Avenue and North Walnut Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined a vehicle stopped at the intersection on East Strawberry Avenue facing east. They attempted to turn left onto North Walnut Street. Upon attempting their turn, they struck a vehicle travelling south on North Walnut Street in the left turn lane. The struck vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash.
