On April 15th, 2026, at approximately 5:53 pm, the police department was dispatched to intersection of North York and West Allen Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined a vehicle was travelling west on West Allen Street intended to cross over North York Street. Upon pulling into the intersection they struck a vehicle travelling south on North York Street. The driver and passenger from the struck vehicle were transported to the hospital for further evaluation of their injuries. The struck vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health Life Lion EMS.
