On March 17th, 2026, at approximately 11:13 am, the police department was dispatched to the 1st block of West Allen Street for a vehicle striking a pole. Officers arrived and determined the driver was attempting to exit the parking lot of a business and struck a utility pole with the front of their vehicle. The impact caused their air bag to deploy requiring the vehicle to be towed from the scene.
