On February 15th, 2026, at approximately 12:38 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of East Main and Arch Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined a vehicle was travelling south on North Arch Street and stopped at the stop sign for East Main Street. They advised they checked traffic and upon entering the intersection they were struck by a westbound vehicle they did not see. The striking vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash. The driver of this vehicle was transported to the hospital for further evaluation of injuries they sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by Silver Spring Township EMS.
