On February 10th, 2026, at approximately 4:05 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of Shepherdstown Road and East Marble Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined a vehicle was travelling south on Shepherdstown Road and failed to come to a complete stop at the stop sign prior to entering into the intersection. Upon entering into the intersection the vehicle struck a vehicle travelling east on East Marble Street, who had the right of way and was already in the intersection. The struck vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash.
