On December 23rd, 2025, at approximately 8:38 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of East Locust and South Filbert Streets for a crash. Upon arrival officers determined a vehicle stopped at the stop sign on East Locust Street facing west. They attempted to turn left onto South Filbert Street and were struck by a vehicle travelling north on South Filbert Street. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained in the crash.
