On June 19th, 2026, at approximately 6:00 pm, the victim and owner of a business located in the 1st block of West Main Street reported a theft and theft by deception. The victim reported a male and female entered the store and made a purchase of a large amount of items, in the range of $15,000. During the transaction the male continued to "shuffle" the cash and distract the victim. After the two left, the victim realized a large portion of the cash turned over had been taken back. The victim only received $5,200 in cash. The victim advised they found 2 high value coins were also taken. The male was described as being about 6'0" tall, of Indian descent, wearing a gray outfit commonly worn by Indian males, and was clean shaven. The female was described as being 5'6" tall, of Indian descent and wearing a blue outfit commonly worn by Indian females, carrying a purse or bag.
