On February 9th, 2026, at approximately 3:47 pm, the police department was contacted by the victim advising their vehicle was struck while they were stopped in traffic in the 500 block of South Broad Street. The victim advised they were facing northbound, when a white pickup truck, went around the victim's vehicle, into the other lane of travel and while passing the victim, their vehicle was struck. The striking vehicle was last seen going north on South Broad Street. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the police department.
