On January 16th, 2026, at approximately 12:08 pm, the victim contacted the police department advising their driver's side view mirror was struck by a passing vehicle. The victim advised they were travelling eastbound in the 100 block of East Simpson Street. A vehicle going the other direction, westbound, came across the double yellow line and the mirrors on both vehicles were struck. The other vehicle, a blue or gray Chevrolet Silverado, according to the victim, did not stop. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
