On September 2nd, 2026, at approximately 6:02 pm, the police department was contacted by a victim who resides in the 100 block of East Keller Street. The victim advised they were checking their credit report and located an open account with Nissan Financial they did not open. The account was opened at a dealership in Tennessee in the beginning on August. It is unknown how the account was opened or how the victim's identifying information was obtained. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the police department.
