On February 17th, 2026, at approximately 11:35 am, the police department was dispatched to South York and West Simpson Streets for a pedestrian traffic pole which had been struck. The pole was struck and knocked off its foundation most likely by a tractor trailer making a turn. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
