On September 23rd, 2025, at approximately 5:30 pm, the police department was dispatched to a parking lot located in the 1st block of South Market Street for a hit and run. The victim advised they parked their vehicle in the lot around 4:50 pm and upon coming back out found their vehicle had been struck. It appears from the damage the vehicle was struck by another vehicle travelling in the lot. The other driver did not leave their information after striking the victim's vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
