On December 7th, 2025, at approximately 7:31 pm, an officer was in the area of East Schoolside Drive and North Arch Street was monitoring the intersection in their marked vehicle. They observed a "dirt bike" travel east on East Schoolside Drive and they failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of North Arch Street. The bike also did not have any lighting on. The officer proceeded to follow the rider and bike and at the insection of Edgewood Drive and North Arch Street the individual "laid the bike down." The officer activated their emergency lighting to make contact with the driver, at which time they fled the area on the bike. A pursuit began and the bike and driver were last seen in the area of Silver Spring Road and North Walnut Street. The rider was described as wearing a white and black helmet and dark clothing. The bike was described as being green and white. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department.
