On July 2nd, 2026, at approximately 8:12 pm, the police department was contacted by a victim residing in the 1st block of East Locust Street. The victim advised they were looking at their credit card transaction and notice several transaction they did not make or approve occurring on 7/1. The victim reported this to their credit card company who advised them to contact the police department. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the police department. Residents should check over their bank and credit card statements to make sure there are not fraudulent transactions being made and the legit ones are the right amount.
