On June 21st, 2026, at approximately 1024 hours, the police department was dispatched to a residence for an active domestic. Upon arriving officers met with the victim and their boyfriend. Officers learned the two had gotten into an argument which turned physical. The victim had visible injuries consistent with what was reported to officers. The boyfriend was identified as May. He was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Prison for arraignment. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge John Hanner. Bail was set at $15,000 unsecure. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
