On June 22nd, 2026, at approximately 4:38 pm, the victim contacted the police department to report an individual whom they had a protection from abuse order against had a third party contact them via text messages about an open criminal case. The defendant, May, was incarcerated at the Cumberland County Prison at the time and charges were filed against him. May was arraigned and bail was set at $5,000 unsecure. A hearing will occur at a later date.
