On December 28th, 2025, at approximately 6:14 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of Pleasantview Drive and North York Street for a vehicle which had just driven into the yard of a residence. The driver of the vehicle was last seen walking away and may have fallen down in another yard west of where they left their vehicle. Officers arrived in the area and located the vehicle and the driver, Hankins. Hankins was found to be under the influence of alcohol to the degree he was rendered incapable of safely operating a motor vehicle. He was arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Prison for processing. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
