On March 5th, 2023 around 4 p.m., Lower Allen Township Police officers were patrolling the area of Hartzdale Drive and Gettysburg Road when a traffic stop was conducted on a black Honda Accord for turning right on red at a posted "no turn on red" intersection. 

The operator of the vehicle was identified as Steven J. Murphy of Harrisburg.  Due to the odor of marijuana and evidence of recent use, Murphy performed field sobriety testing and was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI.  Two children were in the vehicle at this time, ages 2 and 5.  They were reunitied with their mother shortly after.

Charges were filed and an arrest warrant has been issued. Warrant served.
