The Scott Township Police Department has received several reports of vehicle break ins. We are encouraging all residents to take to the time to ensure that your vehicle windows are up and doors are locked. Also be mindful of leaving valuables (Cell Phones, GPS systems, CD's, Currency, etc.) in your vehicle, especially in plain view as this would become a crime of opportunity. Only vehicles have been reported as targets at this time, however we would like to remind all residents to take the extra steps to protect your property by locking the doors and windows of your homes, sheds, garages, and out buildings.
