On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at approximately 0110hrs Berwick Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan sedan in the parking lot of Turkey Hill. During the encounter, Amanda Daniels became uncooperative and unruly, she refused officer's commands and while she was being physically stopped from re-entering the vehicle, she struck an officer in the face with a closed fist.

Daniels was then secured into police custody for assaulting a police officer.

It was later determined that Daniels was intoxicated and had a DUI-suspended driver’s license.
