On 08/02/25 at approximately 2224 hrs, the Renovo Police Department investigated a vehicle crash involving a ATV/UTV on Boone Rd in the area of Stoney Run Rd in Chapman Township.  The 2025 Polaris UTV was operated by a 23 year old Blake Pavlas, of Akron, Ohio, and contained a passenger, 31 year old Mariah McDivitt, of Dover, Ohio.  As Pavlas was driving the UTV on Boone Rd, he entered a curve in the road at a speed too great and lost control of the UTV, causing it to roll over.  Neither occupant was injured.  Both occupants were provided assistance and transportation off of the mountain by the Renovo Police Department.
