The Renovo Police Department have charged 66 year old Mark Sinkiewicz, of Wind Gap (Northampton County), with 2 counts of DUI, expired inspection, and parking in a roadway causing a hazard.  On 10/21/25 around 1546 hrs, police were called after Sinkiewicz's car ran out of gas on Huron Av in Renovo and he caused a traffic hazard.  Sinkiewicz had just passed a gas station a block before, and many gas stations in his travels prior to that.  Sinkiewicz had apparently driven to Renovo from the Allentown area, however, Sinkiewicz had no idea how he got here or why he was here and did not even know where he was.  After any medical issues were found not to be present, Sinkiewicz was found to be highly intoxicated and was arrested for DUI.  Results from a blood draw of Sinkiewicz showed his BAC was .204%.  Charges have been filed against Sinkiewicz in District Court 25-3-03.
