September 26, 2023

Incidents:

Crash – On August 25, 2023, at 1:00pm, there was a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of W. Church St and W. Water St. Unit 1 pulled out in front of Unit 2, Unit 1 was towed from the scene and the driver was cited.

Crash – On September 2, 2023, at 4:02pm, there was a vehicle/bicycle crash on Jay St. The bicycle was coming out of the alley onto Jay St and was struck by the vehicle.  There were no injuries.

Crash – On September 8, 2023, at 5:45pm, a vehicle drove off the roadway on W. Bald Eagle St and struck a utility pole.

Crash – On September 10, 2023, at 7:47pm, there was a crash involving three vehicles at the intersection of Bellefonte Ave and N. Fairview St. Unit 1 attempted to left turn onto N. Fairview St from Bellefonte Ave. The driver of Unit 1 did not see Unit 2 traveling in the opposite direction and turned into Unit 2. Debris from the crash then struck Unit 3 which was stopped on N. Fairview St. Units 1 and 2 were towed from the scene.

Crash – On September 20, 2023, at 5:00pm, a vehicle traveling on Woods Ave struck a street sign and then a building. The vehicle was towed.

Crash – On September 24, 2023, at 6:40pm, there was a two-vehicle crash at E. Main St and N. Hanna St. The driver of Unit 1 was attempting to pull onto E. Main St from N. Hanna St and did not see Unit 2 coming and was hit. The driver of Unit 1 was cited.

Offenses Charged:

  1. Jayden Lyons, 18, Lock Haven, was arrested for DUI. On July 17, 2023, at approximately 9:27pm, Lyons was driving on S. Jones St and hit a parked car, rolling his own vehicle over. Lyons was found to be intoxicated.
  2. Rebecca Spahr, 29, Lock Haven, was arrested for DUI. On August 25, 2023, at approximately 8:30am, officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Second Ave and Woods Ave. Spahr was found to the driver of the crashed vehicle and during the investigation was found to be intoxicated.
  3. Curt Darling, 19, Sugar Grove, was arrested or Fleeing to Elude, DUI, Defiant Trespass, and related summary offense. On September 3, 2023, at approximately 2:24am, officers attempted to stop Darling for a traffic offense. Darling refused to stop, ran through a fence at the end of the Airport runway and continued onto the runway. Once Darling stopped, it was found that he was intoxicated.
  4. Jamal Pruden, 39, Lock Haven, was arrested for harassment, disorderly conduct, and use of tobacco in schools. On September 6, 2023, at approximately 7:30am, an officer observed a verbal argument between Pruden and another individual in front of Robb Elementary School. Pruden was also smoking on school property which is what caused the argument.
  5. Anaise Valdez, 31, Lock Haven, was cited with disorderly conduct. On September 6, 2023, at approximately 7:45am, Valdez got into a verbal argument with an individual in front of Robb Elementary School.
  6. Capree Elliott, 32, Lock Haven, was arrested for a PFA violation. On September 6, 2023, Elliott was seen at a residence he was excluded from by a PFA.
  7. Donald Losch, 52, Windburne, was arrested for DUI. On September 8, 2023, at approximately 5:45pm, officers responded to a hit and run crash in the area of W. Bald Eagle St and S. Summit St. The vehicle was located and Losch was identified as the driver. During the investigation, Losch was found to be intoxicated.
  8. Alexander Lehman, 31, Jersey Shore, was arrested for a PFA violation. On September 14, 2023, Lehman messaged and attempted to call a protected party of a PFA and then went to an address that he was excluded from by the PFA.
  9. Joshua Furl, 40, Lock Haven, was arrested for Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief, and Public Drunkenness. On September 17, 2023, at approximately 9:35pm, officers responded to a check on the welfare and Furl aggressively approached the officer, hitting one in the face, knocking his glasses off, breaking them. Furl then resisted officers’ attempts to take him into custody and was drunk at the time.
  10. Christie Verne, 39, Lock Haven, and Caitlin Donovan, 36, Lock Haven, were both cited with Disorderly Conduct. On September 17, 2023, at approximately 9:45pm, Verne and Donovan were in a verbal argument in front of a residence in the 500 block of E. Bald Eagle St.
  11. 15-year-old female was cited with harassment. On September 21, 2023, the female attacked her mother and brothers in the 100 block of Commerce St.
  12. Megan Hunter, 39, Beech Creek, was arrested for Furnishing Drug-Free Urine. On September 22, 2023 at approximately 3:45pm, Hunter attempted to use her toddler’s urine to pass a drug test with Adult Probation.
