News Release
March 29, 2021
Incidents:
1. THEFT – On 03-25-21, the victim reported a package was stolen from in front of her residence between 03-25-21 at 2:41 PM and 03-25-21 at 2:45 PM in the 600 block of E Bald Eagle St.
Arrests:
1. On 03-25-21, Markis Hubbard, 31, Lock Haven, was arrested for Stalking, Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property in regards to incidents that occurred 02-26-21 to 03-25-21. Hubbard jumped in the victim’s vehicle after he waited for her while she was picking up a co-worker. Hubbard had waited at the same location two days in a row. Hubbard also stole items out of the victim’s car. Hubbard remains in the Clinton County Correctional Facility, unable to post bail.
2. On 03-26-21, charges were filed against Joshua Michael Young, 47, Castanea, for Burglary, Forgery, Criminal Trespass, Access Device Fraud, Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property. Between 01-07-21 and 01-19-21, Young entered an apartment in the 200 block of Bellefonte Ave taking cash, checks, and bank bards belonging to the victim. Young wrote checks to himself, used the bank cards without permission, and retained the cash and property purchased with the cards totaling over $1600.00. Young remains in the Clinton County Correctional facility, unable to post bail.
3. On 03-27-21, a 17 year old juvenile was cited with Purchase, Consumption, Possession or Transportation of Liquor or Malt or Brewed Beverage after the juvenile was found with open containers of alcohol.
4. On 03-28-21, James Francis Evans, 53, Lock Haven, was arrested for Terroristic Threats, and Simple Assault. While in the 10 block of Williamson Heights, Evans threatened to punch and stab the victims while Evans was holding a knife. Evans remains in the Clinton County Correctional Facility, unable to post bail.
