On January 9, 2026, at 2:01 AM, Lock Haven City Police responded to a report of a disorderly vehicle near the intersection of Maple and Pearl Streets. Upon arrival, officers found a significant amount of debris scattered across the roadway and a dark-colored pickup truck parked in the intersection. Following conversations with witnesses and the vehicle's operator, Brody Long, it was determined that Long had consumed alcohol and operated the vehicle. Long also acknowledged striking and damaging a fence and an accessory building on private property. Long was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Or Controlled Substance (M), Reckless Driving (S), Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic (S), and Driving Upon Sidewalk (S). All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
