On January 6, 2026, at approximately 8:00 PM, Lock Haven City Police officers were dispatched to the Family Dollar, 300 Bellefonte Avenue, Lock Haven, for a report of retail theft that had just occurred. In speaking with the manager, it was discovered that Celeste Marie Champagne had stolen $24.55 worth of merchandise. After Champagne confessed to taking the items, she was charged with Retail Theft (M2).
