PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP (WOOLRICH)- Jason Wade Mikitko, 44, of Park Avenue in Woolrich, was charged by Pennsylvania State Police following a May 11, 2026 incident at 1063 Park Avenue.  PSP Trooper Matt Dillon charged Mikitko with Attempted Homicide, Attempted Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats and Attempted Homicide by Vehicle.  

Police allege that Mikitko was operating a 2016 Black Ram Truck and attempted to strike another adult male with his vehicle.  After failing to strike the other adult male, police allege that Mikitko exited the truck and wielded an axe, and the other adult male is alleged to have brandished a firearm.  PSP Lamar conducted a search warrant on the alleged victim's residence that yielded controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

Mikitko was arraigned by MDJ Frank Mills and bail was set at $200,000 monetary.  Mikitko remains incarcerated at the Clinton County Correctional Facility.

Police also indicate that the incident was recorded on surveillance cameras.  The investigation remains ongoing.
