MILL HALL – Andrew W. Batschelet, 33, of Lock Haven, PA., is accused of going into the Wal Mart Supercenter, located in Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County, PA., on 11/23/25 at approximately 8:56 PM, while in possession of a pocketknife and a handgun, and screaming. According to police, Batschelet recognized the victim in this case from a previous altercation. Batschelet allegedly asked the victim, “Do you wanna finish this?” while brandishing the pocketknife. Baschelet then allegedly pushed the victim and the victim took Batschelet to the ground, at which time Batschelet is alleged to have brandished a silver Phoenix Arms HP22 handgun, pointed said gun at the victim and allegedly stated, I’m going to kill you. The victim’s 2 sons were present and witnessed the incident. Batschelet allegedly had the gun pointed in the victim’s head then allegedly punched the victim in the face, then fled the scene on foot.
PSP-Lamar charged Batschelet with Aggravated Assault, a Felony of the Second Degree, Terroristic Threats, a Misdemeanor of the First Degree, and Simple Assault, a Misdemeanor of the Second Degree.
Baschelet was scheduled for a Preliminary Hearing on December 1, 2025.
