LOCK HAVEN - Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse has announced that his office will be conducting a Prescription Drug Take Back week from April 20 through April 24, 2026.
This is a biannual program that the Office of Clinton County District Attorney employs in concert with the DEA to help rid the community of these prescriptions.
The elderly are specifically targeted for these items due to the fact that they are a major part of the population that are prescribed these medications.
Drug Collection Units are available at the following locations in Clinton County:

We DO NOT take needles.
You may remove all labels from pill bottles prior to disposal, or you may simply empty the pills out into a resealable plastic bag before placing them into the Drug Collection Unit.
Please do not use Drug Collection Units to dispose of empty pill bottles or packaging for medication. Those items are perfectly suited to be disposed in the trash.
