Fatal Crash Involving a Pedestrian

On April 12, 2026 at approximately 1:30AM, West Chester Police units were dispatched to the 300 block of South High Street for a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle travelling on South High Street. The pedestrian was transported by Good Fellowship Ambulance to Paoli Hospital. They succumbed to their injuries several hours later at the hospital.

The vehicle involved and the driver/occupant(s) of the vehicle have been identified. The crash is being investigated by the West Chester Police Department’s crash reconstruction unit.
