Snow Parking Reminder: Please Don't Reserve Parking Spots With Objects

With the recent snow, we know parking can get tight, but please remember that Borough Ordinance § 500‑7G(2) prohibits placing any objects in the street to reserve parking spaces.

This includes:

Chairs, furniture, and other household items
Trash cans, cones, buckets, or bins

Any other objects used to block a spot

These items create safety hazards, interfere with additional snow removal, and can make already challenging winter conditions even harder for your neighbors.

Please be considerate, be neighborly, and keep the streets clear.
