The Southern Chester County Regional Police Department has partnered with Avon Grove Charter School, State Road Campus, to provide a Full-Time School Resource Officer effective Monday, August 31st. 

This partnership prioritizes the safety and well-being of AGCS students and staff and will also build upon the relationship between area youth and police officers.  In addition to everyday safety and security, this program ensures the police department and the SRO will work closely with the AGCS team on emergency preparedness, safety planning, drills, and education programs that affect teens and children in and out of the school environment. We look forward to working with the students, staff and families of AGCS. 

 If you or your child attends the State Road campus, you can expect to see Officer Dewees strolling the hallways and interacting positively with staff and students. He is approachable and at your service!
