This evening at approximately 5:33 PM, the police department and the Keystone Valley Fire Department were dispatched to the unit block of South Culvert Street for the report of two vehicles submerged in water.  Flash flooding from the heavy active rain had caused the aforementioned area to severely flood.

Upon arrival on location, police officers immediately entered the water and were able to extract a total of three individuals from the two vehicles.  Two of the individuals were elderly and immediately received medical attention / treatment from KVFD staff.  Both vehicles were cleared by responding officers to assure that there were no additional occupants.  This roadway is currently closed.
