UPDATE:  For clarification - the red SUV is possibly the actor(s) vehicle.

The PARKESBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT is currently investigating the report of a stolen vehicle that occurred over-night.  We are asking our residents to please review your home video surveillance if you live in the 400, 500, or 600 blocks of Strasburg Avenue, or if you live in the 100, 200, or 300 blocks of Main Street.

Specifically, we are looking for any captured activity occurring on this date (August 21, 2026) between 2AM-4:15AM, involving what has been described only as a red SUV, unknown model or make.
