BLUE BEARDS FOR CHARITY is an annual fundraising campaign where law enforcement officers in Chester County, Pennsylvania, make a charitable donation and temporarily relax grooming standards to grow facial hair during the fall months (typically October through December).
All members of the PARKESBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT (both uniform & non-uniform) participate in bi-weekly donations made to the PARKESBURG COMMUNITY POLICING FUND. During the months of October & November, these funds are allocated to support the BLUE BEARDS FOR CHARITY campaign.
While members of the PARKESBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT make these donations throughout the year to support other initiatives identified by the PARKESBURG COMMUNITY POLICING FUND, donations made during October and November are specifically provided to the BLUE BEARDS FOR CHARITY campaign.
For anyone wishing to make a donation to the BLUE BEARDS FOR CHARITY campaign , you have the option of submitting a check payable to the PARKESBURG COMMUNITY POLICING FUND, placing BLUE BEARDS FOR CHARITY on the memo line. Donations may be dropped off at, or mailed to:
