The men and women of the Oxford Borough Police Department extend their deepest condolences following the tragic line-of-duty death of Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Tim O’Connor.
Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of Corporal O’Connor. Tim was an extended friend to many members of our department and someone who exemplified dedication to public service. More importantly, he was a father, husband, and a faithful servant to the residents of this Commonwealth.
This loss hits especially close to home for our department, as many of our officers had the privilege of working and training directly with Corporal O’Connor, including alongside him at Camp Cadet here in Oxford. His commitment to mentoring young people and building positive relationships within the community reflected the very best of the law enforcement profession.
Corporal O’Connor will be greatly missed by those who had the honor of knowing and serving with him.
On behalf of the men and women of the Oxford Borough Police Department and the Oxford community, we extend our thoughts, prayers, and support to Corporal O’Connor’s family, his friends, and our brothers and sisters of the Pennsylvania State Police during this incredibly difficult time.
We stand with them as they mourn this profound loss and honor the life and service of a remarkable officer and individual.
